You’re blessed with sisterhood..

You bicker and fight over the tiniest things and can’t stand each other most of the time but whether you have one or ten sisters, sisterhood is a relationship wrapped with a bond like none other.

Your sister is someone you can always count on and share the sweet and bitter with, knowing full well that she will always be there for you.

She is one of the very few people in your life who will always give you an honest opinion whether you need it or not and like it or not. She will always remain your true best friend for life, no matter what happens.

Put your arguments and differences aside on August 5th 2012 for it is sister day! Celebrate and appreciate being a sister, take your sister(s) out or organize a family day; Share anecdotes, reflect upon old pictures and arrange an activity you mutually enjoy.

Whether the memories consist of innumerable fights and arguments or laughter, she has been, and will remain a person who wiped your tears when you were sad, stuck up for you when you were hurt, hugged you when you needed one, watched you succeed and cheered on as well as guided, supported and believed in you when you failed.

We often take the ease and comfort with which our sisterhood comes with for granted. Traditionally, sister day celebrations come from the heart and not the pocket, sincere and honest gestures are what matter and carve an imprint.

Save the date, sister day falls on the first Sunday of August. Make it a tradition for years to come!
