I sink deep with each loving caress of the sea.
Why can we not be waves?
They curl up the sand and beg us into their embrace
Yet in a way we are like the waves,
each so different, yet share the same love
You lose Sadness when you fall in love with the sea,
Its roar encompasses your soul;
it lets loose the gates to desires and dreams.
Your age sheds with each passing moment
As you stare upon the ageless sea.
The sun lights the vast wet blanket,
Scattering diamonds of fire,
Like precious embers,
but the moon comes and soothes its burns.
